Challenging haiku, Eric, especially because its title is “Genesis” and not “Revelation”. 🙂 Considering all thoughts and possibilities of the hereafter, and that we are still alive and kicking on this planet, all the more reason for us to cherish and enjoy each breathing moment while on earth.
Yes, Dee, it was a little deliberate – in the theme Cycle of Life —- you know the rest 🙂
Yes, best to make the best while on earth. That leaves open the definition of ‘best’ – that takes Faith to recognise, I reckon.

Yes! To pass into portals of infinity would indeed be a thrilling ride. Why stop at one short, simple life when many others await our earthly demise? What planes of existence are there where we can gambol and glissade with abandon in the gloaming of the Universe?
Once again an exceptional 17-syllable production, three lines of exquisite words that speak of excitement and enchantment. 🙂

I really don’t think what ‘lies beyond’ is really that much of a mystery, I think we make more of it than is necessary, and that it’s as familiar as sleeping. Just my thoughts.

Yep, it did… and so did I 😀 It’s good to be home, though…. Got a good idea of what else I want to see over there, and saw a lot of pretty country, met some really friendly ffolkes…. Found out I’m really getting too old for long plane rides in an economy coach seat… My back just isn’t up to it any more…. SIGH… Being old is getting old, for sure…. 😆

Oh, my dear – if a stiff engineer such as moi can do it – anyone can do it. Try it – its not as difficult as it looks and don’t let the purists discourage you. I’ve had people criticise my limericks and typos – water on ducks back, I say 🙂

I don’t mind sitting on clouds – but man, them white gowns and plastic wings (made in China) – they really get me. I don’t mind the ones made in Japan or Korea 😆
