      1. I have discovered a few typos now that I should have spotted before. I don’t want to take up any more space on Eric’s site so I’ll repost the corrected version in a reply to your comment on “Mary Oliver: In Memoriam”.

    1. That’s bad, Indira,

Having to resort to sleeping pills.

I get to sleep fast and am grateful for it. On the odd night, I might toss and turnaround but those are rare.

Hope Ben can help you out.

      Good luck,
      Eric

  1. Sleep is the best repair function given to us, be it emotional or physical. Even if there is no answers, we know we are better equipped to face the challenge of the day. I can’t imagine the torture for those who suffers from insomnia.

    1. Hello Windy,

You’re right, our physical bodies require sleep. But our spiritual bodies (soul, spirit, or whatever you wish to cal it) do not need rest, as we know it. At least not in the Third Dimension.

Some cultures view sleep as “little deaths” – plenty of truth in it, I reckon. It’s not as macabre as some might think.

      Peace,
      Eric

    1. Hello Rab,

If you’re awake, then you’re not asleep and perhaps that’s why answers prove elusive 🙂

      Have a good night’s sleep,
