smiles are free and magical , it can make someone’s day … it’s a pity not all people smile at each other , our world would be much more friendly, me think.
Have a good week too, my friend 🙂

Whatever we do, we get more of….so smiles create smiles. Lovely reminder Eric, my lovely buddy. Have a great week over there in Singapore. 🙂 Biggest hug. x
I have sometimes waved at people from our car as I passed them. Usually they just look sometimes and smile back. I don’t know why I’ve done this. Maybe they looked friendly.
Hello Eric!
Mornings are usually smiling times for me 🙂
Hope you’re having a great day,
Georgia

Eric you posted this right after I was out with Mr. Hubby shopping all day. I love to smile at people and most find it too much to smile back, I had commented to him while out that maybe everyone was in a bad mood? I should take this post you made print it and hand them out!
Every evening I go out for a walk or jog or bicycle ride. Some women think I’m trying to get fresh and they glare at me. Some men simply glare back. Then, there are others who smile back, nod and even say “hello” – this latter group keeps me going.
I try to do so everyday but fail miserably with some people. It is tough coming across the same person, offering a smile and receiving a blame stare in return.

It’s just that simple, isn’t it? 🙂
Yes, Paul – it’s as simple as that.
Thank you for reblogging and the ‘follow’ – I ticked to ‘follow’ too 🙂
Cheers,
Eric
So very true and very valuable. I love it Eric.
Let’s keep smiling – as often as we can 🙂

Truly spoken, Francina 🙂
I’ll bear your words in mind, Eric, when I’m snarling 🙂
LOL – good idea, Jane 🙂
Toothy grins for the camera are one thing, but a genuine smile is mostly in the eyes…..
Very true Cynthia,
The smile in the eyes is more genuine.
Peace and blessings dear,
Eric
The most genuine ,simple ,beautiful and precious thought to be shared. I always love that..to smile 🙂
Hello Soumya,
Yes, and we can start at home, our neighbours, and then on and on
Peace,
Eric
Great words of wisdom. Nothing makes my day as much as a real smile. 🙂
That’s so true, is it not – may your days be filled with smiles 🙂
Good advice.
Thank you and now I need to walk the talk 🙂

Hello Maasaiboys,
If only we can package it and spread it like the common cold 🙂
Cheers,
Eric

Hmmm, this I don’t usually do – unless at the traffic lights and I catch someone’s eyes – then yes, flash a smile 🙂
Wave at people – haven’t tried that yet.
Peace,
Eric
Sometimes I smile to myself as I pass by people and I feel as if I’m smiling at them.
That’s lovely Shalilah 🙂
Ah…yes philanthropy…but I will give you a smile just because I like to and today I can 😉
Hello Georgia dear,
I’ll take all the smiles you have for me 🙂
Glad that you’re feeling up to it,
Eric

LOL – handing out flyers 🙂
I know what you mean dearie.

Thank you for the suggestion and advice. But, the tough thing is for the smile to be genuine
Yes, it is.
I try to do so everyday but fail miserably with some people. It is tough coming across the same person, offering a smile and receiving a blame stare in return.
Peace,
Eric
It’s not Monday yet, so I’m still smiling. 🙂
Blessings on your week, too, Eric!

Aww, Wendy – a case of Monday blues 🙂
Could mean that your weekend was great.
Happy for you and thank you,
Eric

Why, thank you 🙂
priceless advice!
Yes, something I struggle to live by.
And that can be the hardest thing in the world to do when life is treating you rough.
Very true, Ian
And yet when given in one’s rough moments – it carries more merit, I reckon.
Have a great week ahead,
Eric
Ah, “genuinely.” I knew there was a catch! 😉
I thought of leaving out that word but knew what the Brothers Grinn would say 🙂
