I love your brief ones, Eric. You write well in a few words. What I mean is, you say it so well.
Well, Noeleen dear,
If we can say more with less —— 🙂
Of course, one can read another meaning in this statement 🙂
nicely written eric.. 😀
It’s sobering to reflect on the fact that most of the human race live in fear or poverty or both. They don’t need our advice (sermons) but rather compassionate action on our part.
Very true Ian. The key words are ‘compassion’ and ‘action’.
It’s when you set your mind free to listen and discern, then choose your own path and put aside the sermons, that would be your freedom of thought.
Very true Jasey.
Ultimately we will be judged by our own words and actions > not by some adulterated dogma, I reckon.
and i am so taking this opportunity to nominate you for “one lovely blog” award. congratulations. you So very much deserve this. i absolutely adore coming to your blog. anyway, i’m not sure if you’ve receieved it yet, but come check it out to see all i said about you & accept the award!
Congratulations of having landed this award. 3,000 plus unread emails! That must be some record! You put in great effort with your poems and as you know, I am a regular reader. Keep up the posts 🙂
Thank you for nominating me. Yes, I’ve received this award before but hey, I’m not complaining 🙂
I popped over to read that wonderful comment you made > “Written words never die” … Eric is one of the greatest bloggers & writers i can cite on here. If you want to see how to make a difference just observe all he writes & does. i aspire to have a blog as distinguished & life-changing as his”
These words mean more to me than any award (but hey, I’ll still keep the award).
Thank you and all good wishes, Eric 🙂
Fully identify with this! And I’m sure my kids do too! 😀
Don’t we all 🙂
Amen and much love to you my buddy xx
Thank you Jane and all the very best ahead, Eric 🙂
Yes, I like that! Thanks for sharing it. We all could use much more freedom to be ourselves! Sincerely, Connie Webb
When the time comes, we stand alone…no pope, priest or shaman will vouch for us – they’ll probably be too busy saving their own skins, I reckon.
I left a comment in your post > The Best Gift (probably went into your spam)
Well said Eric!
Thank you Aparna 🙂
(P/s I am behind in my visits to many of the blogs that I follow but hope to get around to it by tomorrow)

Ciao, Francina
Congratulations 🙂 So many awards! Wow!
What a wonderful soul you are, Francina – to share these three awards so abundantly. Thank you my dear and I accept with all gratitude.
Luv and peace, Eric 🙂
Freedom from sermons–what a hoot! Glory Hallelujah, Brother Eric!
The parish priest in my church (remember that dress code priest) starts the service by inviting everyone to turn around and welcome their neighbours to join in the mass. But he studiously ignores those parishioners who displease him (obviously that includes me). By so doing, he makes a mockery of the entire mass proceedings, I reckon.
