  1. Everywhere you look, there is subversion of justice. In a recent case, four alleged rapists were killed by cops on grounds that they tried to escape. And that is not the scary part. The scary part is that a large number of people seem to think it is a good thing. It is all good as long as it happens to someone else, isn’t it?

  2. We are certainly ruled by law. Those in authority passed the rule as they deemed fit. No jury to challenge. This is when the country falls under guided democracy. Have to remove the rot first.

      Singapore is one of the places where rule by law prevails – especially under the current premiership.

      For example, the fake news law which they pushed through (the regime enjoys an overwhelming parliamentary majority) sets the cabinet ministers up as the purveyors of truth. A politician who speaks only the truth, nothing but the truth. If that is not laughable, I don’t know what is.

      I hope Singaporeans wake up and, come the next general elections, they reclaim their rights.

        I think this is how politicians pay the citizens back- by mocking them
