  1. All the very best with your book dear Eric…

    Woefully, I couldn´t download it… I don´t know which was the reason…

Anyway, I´ll stay tunned for further approaches and/or readings.

    Hugs to you,

    Aquileana 😛

    1. Thank you Aquileana,

You probably missed the ‘free’ download period. You know what, in Singapore, we don’t have Kindle and my family, friends and I were unable to download our own copies.

Anyway, the print version is due for release before month end 🙂

Thank you dear and all good wishes,
      Eric

      1. I don´t have kindle either….

So that was the reason then…

No problem, I can purchase it, Eric…

Best wishes and thank you, Aquileana 😉

    1. That’s excellent, Willow dear

I hope Mechanic Leigh does not disappoint – and if you would be kind enough to leave me a review on Amazon – that would be a great leg-up 🙂

Thank you and all good wishes,
      Eric

    1. Oh Willow dear,

I could have sworn it was free in all markets including the UK and can only wonder whether you missed the deadline. But as I said, Kindle publishing is new to me and there could have been glitches which I was unaware of – my apologies.

Thank you purchasing – I appreciate this support 🙂

      All good wishes,
      Eric

  2. I almost missed your book launch as I am behind in reading my email. I like your cover choice and look forward to enjoying your stories. Congratulations, Eric!

    1. Hello VB,

I hope you managed to download a copy 🙂

Thank you for your congrats and I hope Mechanic Leigh does not disappoint.

      Cheers,
      Eric

    1. That’s good to know, Stephen

After reading some of the discussion threads on Kindle Forum, I wondered whether all will go well. It seems, so far so good.

Now – when will we get to read your GP series – I know you’re working on it. Also your AISOTB has potential in this regards too.

      All good wishes, my friend,
      Eric

    1. Really, Stephen – Wow! That’s great!

You see in Singapore, we don’t have access to Kindle Editions. I’ve yet to hold that device and gauge the feeling.

      Cheers,
      Eric

    1. Hah! Hah! – Yes, we need to let the kid within out – as all of us have a kid within us, I reckon.

Thank you, Willow Marie and all good wishes,
      Eric
      P/s Download a copy, if you haven’t already 🙂

  3. Your intro video is very entertaining, these must be excerpts from the book. Many readers will be able to relate to their childhood encounters.

Congrats and happy for you that the book is released.

    1. Hello Windy,

Glad you liked the intro video and yes, these are excerpts and hopefully convey something about Leigh’s character 🙂

Thank you for your well wishes; much appreciate this,
      Eric

    2. Yes, it does. Just viewing the video itself led me to imagine what an interesting kid Leigh must be. Nothing like having a good chuckle at our childhood naughtiness and blunders..ha..ha..

    1. Awwww! Val, dear

The ability to rejoice in the good fortunes of others is a gift, I reckon.

Thank you, my Gifted One, I appreciate your support and encouragement,
      Eric

    1. No worries Madhu,

I plan to release the print copy via Amazon before end May 🙂

Looks like your solo trip turned out all right – never mind that strange consulate request for processing your visa.

Here in Singapore, Kindle is not available too – but I believe we have iPad and iPhone here – stuff that I’m quite unfamiliar with. LOL! Tells you how tech savvy I am 🙂

      Cheers,
      Eric

  4. Congratulations Eric. You announced a while ago the arrival of this book and now it is ready. Used to look forward to your postings on Mechanic Leigh during your earlier blogging days. Never missed to have a good laugh while reminiscing similar incidents.

Congratulations Mechanic Leigh, you are published. Yippee, as you would say.

    1. Hello Jasey dearest,

Unfortunately, Kindle is unavailable in Singapore otherwise you’ll be able to download a free copy. I checked and the free download is working okay.

I plan to release the print copy, hopefully before end May and trust and hope that you’ll be among the first to secure a copy 🙂 I know, a little thick skinned perhaps, but self published authors must also self promote – one of the downsides.

      Luv and hugz,
      Eric

    2. Oh thanks Eric, for letting me know of the print copy is coming soon. Will look out for this..

Self promote is free, so why not. As long as it is effective, anything goes !

  5. “we were happy when we were poor”

    And then…THEY……. all became rich.

And….. did not…. live happily afterwards.

NOW…… the doors are locked can’t buy back poverty “online” !!

    OR…… CAN WE ?

  6. Great! I’m going to be away from a computer most of the day tomorrow, but I’ve put a reminder to give the download a try tomorrow night. Looking forward to reading it, as this wasn’t a story I followed (only because it was already in full-swing when I found your blot.)

    1. Hello Janna,

Yes, I figured a one-day ‘free’ window might prove inconvenient for some – hence, I selected a block of two days for free downloads.

I hope you discover snippets of your childhood days as Mechanic Leigh relates his.

Thank you and all good wishes,
      Eric

  7. Way easier to get novels onto a Kindle. We have been working on the necessary changes in format needed to get my poetry book on Kindle so that the lines are as close as possible to the paper copy. Not an easy task. I so appreciate your likes and comments!!!!

    1. Hello Juliana,

Yes, it takes some doing to get the book formatted for Kindle – but as they say, once you know how – it’s a cinch!

All good wishes with your poetry book 🙂
      Eric

      1. I guess tonight is the deadline. I took a look yesterday but it looked like Amazon wanted me to sign up before they would do business. I’ll take another look and see if I can work it out. Ian

      2. Hello Ian,

Yes, all you need is to sign up – very much like in WordPress. In Singapore, we don’t have access to Kindle but that doesn’t stop us from signing up – as we need an account to buy print copies, which I do.

Your email shows in this comment and for purposes of confidentiality, I’ve deleted it.

        Cheers,
        Eric

    1. Hello Bill,

Yes, I recall that some of Mechanic Leigh’s escapades brought back your childhood memories – amazing how people, oceans apart, have so much to share.

Thank you for your support 🙂
      Eric
