In some societies – one can only wonder how many men would accept a woman who has ‘known’ another, and how many mothers-in-law would accept such a daughter-in-law.
The hypocrisy of people can be amusing, to say the least.

As writers, we are on a somewhat lonely journey. A smiling face and a small cheerful wave makes it better. We can all do with some encouragement, I reckon.
This is an absolutely wonderful, and sensual depiction of beauty. Radha is an experience of beauty in your poem. Thank you for this as it brightened my day a little more. 🙂
The first stanza really drew me in, “I bathe your feet with ancient rites / Of turmeric dust, flower scented milk / Shyness hides under sandalwood past / Henna tempts with magic on your skin.” Immediately taken to that place and time. Phrased very well too. Very nice!
I hope you don’t mind me saying this – You’re probably a very sensitive and loving person – we need more such people as this world can otherwise be quite harsh.
