      1. I’m well ChristyB

Just completed another novel manuscript a couple of days ago. Taking a short break and checking out my blog.

Trust that all is well with you too,
        Eric

      2. Great about your upcoming book, Eric! I’m well too, thanks. Business writing here, blogging, and working on the next book. Have a wonderful weekend πŸ™‚

    1. Hmmm, I wonder Jasey,
Even with an annual birthday, some husbands forget…
But you’re right – they only need to buy presents once every 4 years πŸ™‚
Unless of course, the wife insists that husband ‘makes up’ for it.
      Cheers!
      Eric

  1. Good one, Eric.
I would prefer to age 25 years only, then in 200 years, I will only be 50 years old. I can earn in my first 25 years of age, retire, and enjoy in the next 25 years. I’ll still be young enough.

  2. Neat thought, some might go on to 26 or more but not many. I recently wrote a short story, a spoof on Sleeping Beauty, in which those born on 2/29 are featured. Anyway for you, a fellow leo, HB for the event in August.

    1. Hello, Jane,

Yes, I recall reading your post ROSAMUND’S SLEEP.

A fellow Leo, yes I recall.

Here is a little sharing – I don’t celebrate my birthday. No particular reason – I simply don’t.

However, I had been surprised on two occasions. Once in 1990s, when Lisa and the entire clan conspired and appeared at my door step. Of course, throughout the day, Lisa was acting kinda strange… but I did not catch on until they threw open the doors and walked in πŸ™‚

In 2012, Alicia and Adamson flew home unexpectedly from Brisbane and NYC and treated me to a surprise dinner at a posh restaurant. Of course, they had it all planned with their mother and our youngest, Amelia. That was lovely and memorable.

      All good wishes,
      Eric

  3. OK. Will try this again. πŸ™‚ Happy birthday. And do celebrate with a big bang up, blow out, ‘baby boomer’ raucous party. Eat a cake covered in lit candles. (Blow them out first). πŸ™‚ Every breath we take at our age is reason enough to celebrate. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, Joyce and shall celebrate when my birthday falls – come August πŸ™‚

I don’t know why you were unable to post. I could see your notification but nothing came through. Oh well, WP is at it again, I suppose.

Thank you for your persistence and all good wishes,
      Eric

    1. Thank you Connie, for your visit and comment.

Actually, it is not my birthday. The ‘haiku’ was to highlight the unique situation faced by people born on 29th Feb πŸ™‚

      All good wishes,
      Eric
