    1. Hello Jane,

Tough to comment on a haiku such as this but you thought through, I reckon, and pulled it off. Hope I’m not too presumptuous here.

      Thank you for the congrats,
      Eric

  1. Now that you mention it I find it interesting that tears flow when we are happy and when we are sad and people looking on can tell the difference from not only the mirror on the cheeks but the expression in the eyes.

    1. Hello Ian,

You’re right – the eyes say it all.

Tears remind me of laughter. When happy, we laugh. When afraid, some or us laugh too. Humans reveal interesting behaviours.

Trust the week is going well,

  2. Mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner smudges the eyes and cheeks. Blusher, powder and whatever facial makeup wiped off. What a sight snd what a waste, LOL. At least men have no such issue. Unfortunately it is the women who tear most of the time.

    1. Ah yes, Windy,

We need run-proof, smear-proof, water-proof stuff before we get down to crying.

And you’re right. Since men don’t dab their faces with all these “stuff” they’re well placed to cry.

Do you notice, our Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong makes it a point to cry every year when he makes his 2-hour plus National Day Rally Speech. And it is getting to be predictable and boring. But the good news is – no “stuff” on his face – or the beauticians will be stressed out. LOL.

      Cheers!
      Eric
