Very creepy. Reminded me of some movie with Johnny Depp, but can’t remember the name. Anyway, you shocked me with the horror flash fiction which is so different than your other writing. But shock is in horror, so good job. Sincerely, Connie Webb
For example, my first novel (Beck & Call) is a business thriller/family saga and my second (Code Shield) delves into human trafficking/organised crime/flesh trade.
If enough people like my horror flicks, I might give horror a try…
I took a bit of a chance writing this > as you know, I’m quite old-fashioned when it comes to marriage and love.
But, look out for the sequel > it is not wifey but his mistress on the dinner plate. (I’m old fashoined – but don’t use a shotgun – as some people do π
Fried Green Tomatoes is a movie in which a man was killed, and when an FBI agent came to investigate, the body was cooked up, and fed to the agent. He ate the evidence of the murder too.

Oh, that (!) Fried Green Tomatoes π Thanks!
Well, I’m sure the agent was filled with knowledge – sorry, couldn’t help that sneak in π

What he probably does not know is β his wife is so smart, it is his mistress on the dinner plateβ¦
A little gross after just having steak for supper. Luckily both husband and I played a part in preparation. Everyone here has been accounted for. Does make me want to learn the story leading up to dinner.
Thank you Eric I will check on your comment. I looked forward to sinking my teeth into the main course of your story. I will also stop with all further puns. :- )

Yes, I’m trying out different genres.

All good wishes, Eric
I. Just. Love. This. You. Are. A. Star. π

(P/s I left a comment in your Liebster Award > you might want to retrieve it from the spam folder)
heh-heh … now I’m intrigued … how did you know it was in the spam?
Thank you for your kind comment π
You’re welcome.
Well, when we post a comment – it should show up as ‘Awaiting Moderation’ if not > it is probably in the spam folder.
Well, my word, you learn something new every day – thanks Eric π
I feel grossed by the end of the statement
In flash fictions the last line is usually the punchline…
Do you mean that the punchline is to give the answer at the ending?
There are no rules Yoshiko – but that is what I try to do.
Interesting and scary ending.
Reblogged this on My Cyber Novels.
Thank you Sharmishtha π
I’m stunned by how much you’ve packed in so few words. Excellent, Sir, just excellent.
Thank you very much and am glad you enjoyed so…I always believe that less can be more π
Wow, Eric, this is real good and clever! Loved it and it’s a good thing we don’t eat steak often! π
Lol – I actually love a nice steak with some red wine every so often π
Me, too, but maybe not anymore! Hee,hee! π
Eric. just see if Lisa gives you any more steak dinners! Naughty, naughty (but very accomplished) man!

Glad to know that all members of family are accounted for π
Storyline marinated – shall be served up in due course…pun unintended π
Cheers, Eric
