Beautiful and wise words lovely Eric and your romantic light shines from the strength of your marriage….I believe that the Divine Love is within us all and sharing that love is an individual responsibility for us all – love and hugs Jane x
You’re absolutely right Eric, love lives through giving and receiving 🙂 your words go directly into the soul.. BTW I have followed your blog, but It seems I’m unable to receive your posts via email. And I can’t find a subscribe button on your blog. Is there a way that I can receive a notification of your posts!

I agree. All true. And True Joy of life only comes when you find to experience Unconditional Love which all human being felt so hard to give. True Love is unselfish. and to have this kind of love, I believe Love must be treated like the 4 seasons.
Thanks Eric, I love this post 🙂
Have a great weekend! xo
The magic of love has always been the “give and take”. Occasionally there is an imbalance, but once properly tilted, it will smoothen. This is the part that you have to surmount to preserve the relationship. A real heart-searching piece to dwell on.
In for a “pinch” in for a sackful I say 🙂 Ask for sackfuls of the stuff…and get a bigger chalice…start drinking from great big barrels. Hope you don’t mind me commenting. I just sort of ran away with the thought of only having a “pinch” of kindness.
Well written and something we need to keep reminding ourselves of.
Hello Dennis,
Glad you see it that way…my sentiments too.
Cheers, Eric
you truly know what love is. i so agree with you. you have to fill up the cup to drink from it.
another amazing poem on love.
Dear Sharmistha,
Coming from an accomplished poet such as yourself, I take this as high compliment.

Love is indeed a two-way relationship…in which love is given and recieved.

Oh Sirenia,
You are so sweet with your compliments.
All good wishes,
Eric 🙂
I sometimes wonder if I want more from humans than they are able to give.
The poem refers to two people in love and how they help fill each other…they’ll have to find their equilibrium, I reckon.
But you are right, there is only so much we can reasonably expect…

Thank you Jay.
Your posts on management topics are quite irreverent but true, and I love them.
Eric
It is as you say. Thanks!

Dear Frank,
Coming from you, someone who has walked these miles – I take that as a firm affirmation.
Thank you, Eric

Very true Jasey and thanks 🙂
yes – and only God can refuel – if we look to “someone” other than Him – we enter the world of dysfunction and possible abuse
Truly said, as ultimately it all comes from HIM. Peace, Eric

Hello Peter,
Yes, we all have our Manu…so says the Vedas…
Peace, Eric

No worries about your comment 🙂 pinch away.
We start with a pinch and hopefully get to sacks; start with a cup and build up to barrels – not the reverse!
