    1. Hello and thank you, for your visit and lovely comment dear 🙂
How well you’ve put it – and very true too – risk taking and mistake making are twins, indeed.
      All good wishes,

  1. Past, present and future – they are interlinked and one will shape the other.

Thank you, Eric, for reminding us to reflect a moment.

    1. Hello Jasey dearest,
We speak of past, present and future as if these are standalone periods – but you’re right – these flow one into the other.
Some we imbibe. Others we discard. The worst, I reckon, are the ones we chose to carry.
      Luv and hugz,

    1. You’re absolutely right, Jane, and very welcome.
Decades after the fact, Robert McNamara admitted that Vietnam was wrong.
Hopefully, George Bush and his neo-Nazis realize one day that Iraq was wrong – and if committed by any other nation – their leaders would be put on trial by now.
I wonder whether the Islamic extremists will learn that what they do is unconscionable to all decent human beings.
My apologies if I’d taken a sharp (and controversial) political stance.
      All good wishes,

  2. If discovering why it has become fallacies make you wiser, then it’s worth the effort.

Note that you are back into giving us a shot of your “deep thoughts” short liner, Eric.

    1. Hello Shalilah,
Good to see you here. All of us can benefit from periodic stock-takes, I reckon.
P/s: I just popped over to your blog and left a comment – powerful words, yours.

I like to hear your thoughts
