Here is the second short film – FIRST DATE – by my team from Cast & Crew 4SG Films.

Hope you enjoy πŸ™‚

The first film that I wrote and produced – LIFE BLOOD

The 48 Hour Film Project – Singapore, 2014
I took part as scriptwriter in the 48 Hour Film Project. My first time and just for the fun of it. I teamed up with Marrie Lee of Cleopatra Wong fame and her team in Reel Frenz.

Film Title: THE NEXT JOB

Best Screenplay Award

Basically, we were given a genre and 3 elements to include in the film – one character (Simon and/or Simone Star – a spy), one line of dialogue (I did not come here to do this), and one prop (Chinese cabbage – yes, you heard me). The genre (drawn by lot) for our team was – dark comedy.

Within 48 hours we had to write, shoot, edit and submit the film. We started on Friday 28 November night with submission on Sunday 30 night. It was a national competition and 17 teams/films participated.

Well, the good news – my Script won the Best Screenplay Award!

    • Hello Claire,

Yes, I’ve been kinda busy – but all in a rewarding way πŸ™‚

Lovely of you to drop by – I appreciate this and hope that all is well with you.

Wishing you happy holidays and a great start to 2015,

  3. I watched the film and thoroughly enjoyed the two spies. They have great rapport. The priest comes across as stiff, he does not portray an image of a priest and he sometimes mumbled his words.

The dialogues are fabulous. Your script is so smooth and natural. It’s no wonder you received the best screenplay award. Christmas comes early. My heartiest congratulations. Hope this is the beginning of your movie career, going into script writing for feature films to broadcast internationally. I’ll be looking out for your name on the big screen.

We were all under extreme pressure and obviously, could have done better.

Let’s see where this new path takes me πŸ™‚

      Happy Holidays,
