Hello Windy,
There are some who are passionate about seeking justice and seeing justice done.
But many bend to the will of politicians and their pay-masters.
In Singapore, some of the new “laws” such as that meant to tackle “fake news” and the deferred prosecution agreement that allows corrupt businessmen to hide behind, need serious review. The current regime and their cronies have vested interests. We need an alternate government.
Cheers!
Eric
Judges, cops, lawyers, are all cut from the same cloth of a common society. But, I often wonder, is there a better system???
Isn’t that the truth? It is also sad that the shiny gavel doesn’t let anyone approach close enough to fix the loose screws!
Are the ones who practice law and pass out judgement know their responsibilities, or is it all about the money.

Loose nuts is a fairly good description of the so called clever ploys of the advocates.
Justice comes with a price tag that is beyond most people. In some cases, the underlying laws are found wanting, I reckon.
justice that is not timely is no justice.
Very true, Bill 🙂
