  1. I posted a poem on that subject not long ago Eric. I believe I called it “Lost in translation” and I think that may have been the case. “Meek” was perhaps a mistranslation of something like the good or the kind or the just — those who preferred peace but would fight if they had to. The problem with “meek” is it implies weakness, and I doubt the weak will inherit the Earth.

      Words do take on new meanings. “Weak” would be a more appropriate word. Thank you for pointing out.

  2. None will inherit. Humans will destroy all and incur the wrath of mother nature. A new creation begins and hopefully not of the same mistake.

      Quite apocalyptic, Windy, but probable unless the collective “we” get our act together NOW.

      Since our so-called “leaders” in government and big-business are self-serving morons – your prediction is not too far off, I fear.

      Weeding is required so that new shoots might flourish.
