As a kid playing alone in the backyard of my kampong house, it gets eerily silent in the afternoons. The trees watch and the breeze sighs through the leaves. And yes, sometimes you feel as if something is watching.
But as an adult, the close standing trees exude calm and peace. They’re like silent friends – never judging; always there waiting to embrace and comfort.

How rare it is to find those kind of friends Eric. But there are some that do qualify and we need them for our own health and need to remember they too need that kind of friend. Mutual nurturing in friendship makes life journey enjoyable.
