Your haiku makes me think of the afterlife in Christianity, Eric. So, that energy is with us during our life here on Earth and also after death. Well, it’s one perception that popped into my mind right away. You’re making me think too much at the end of my week. 🙂
Yes, that energy is with us and we are energy in a cosmic universe that pulses with life forces which are pure energy. By such extension, I relate to our Christian teaching which says, we are one with Him.
Convoluted and confusing even perhaps – but now you know why sometimes I sit silently and presumably “watching the grass grow.” LOL.
Interesting proposition. Is there death then? They talk about the death of stars and black holes that suck in all matter. Can there be an absence of energy? That’s science to ponder. Most religions I’m aware of proposition the end in some form or another, some conditional as to whether its permanent or not.
There is always death but then again that depends on the definition of death, I reckon.
As for the death of stars – I believe for want of a better word, scientists resort to the word death to describe stars that disappear into a black hole – itself a contentious word, I reckon.
When a body enters another dimension via a portal (say a cosmic door) it does not mean that it has died. At best it might be unseen by human eyes or undetected by man’s technology – until such time our technology catches up.
And energy as we know it, is indestructible for even the black holes are dense – unimaginably dense. It has not disappeared – it is there. Our science recognises it.
But these are mere suppositions – and new knowledge awaits discovery that might render my supposition wrong. While on the Third, the quest never ends, I reckon.
Peace,
Eric

It does, doesn’t it, Bill.
I agree with your observation. The soul is indestructible and I believe it is the purest form of energy.

Indeed it does look like a hole. But is it? 😉

All good wishes for a great weekend,
Eric
Sometimes it feels like we are batteries and our enargy slowly diffuses in this world. Maybe we get recharge in a different realm, who knows.
Hello Windy,
Energy might leak out – true – but never gets destroyed. It gets transformed.
Oh yes, I subscribe to the notion that there are many dimensions beyond our Third.
Luv and hugz,
Eric

That was a helpful comment.
Yes, Eric. Soul encompasses us.
Hello Ina,
Nice thought 🙂

Yes, Eric – the nihilism of the next generation frightens me… and tells me we’ve let them down in passing on our beliefs
Well, your picture suggests that all energy is sucked into a hole. 🙂
