    Dear Eric,

Yes. Yes, alas, the elite have all but conned the mass of humanity; they bask in their glory and greatness whilst fingering funds forged from sweat and ignorance, hence the rise of the Orange Baboon who resides in our country, offering nothing more than bread and circuses, all the while pocketing the minions hard-earned wages to pad their own egotistical messianic ravings.

Good to read your words, good sir, and I shall once again attempt to become a regular reader of your postings.

    Warmest wishes,
    Paul

    1. Dear Paul,
You always come up with such well thought and intense replies. Quite often your comments qualify to be standalone posts. You have your Orange Baboon, and we have our tin dictator and his empress dowager here in Singapore.
After a short hiatus, I’m back to regular blogging. We’ll be “seeing” more of one another 🙂
      Warmest wishes, dear friend,
      Eric

    1. Hello Ian,

Once upon a time, in Singapore we looked up to political leaders. But in the 1990s, when they started paying themselves millions, it went south. We’ve yet to hit bottom but it is coming up fast.

      Peace,
      Eric

    1. LOL Windy,

Perhaps the ruling elite is more equal 🙂

      Cheers!

    1. Hello Jane,

I agree with you on all counts. Similarities and differences become pronounced depending on the height we view from.

The ‘splitting hairs’ phrase gave me a smile, as it reminded me of the Indian saying regarding ‘skinning an ant’.

      Cheers!
