    1. Hello Lauren, my dear friend,

If it sets the reader thinking, the writer has done his part, I reckon.

      All good wishes,
      Eric

  1. I like the thought that when we are tired and weary, there is a sanctuary to turn to, a spiritual healing place where we commune with our creator. A touch of homecoming.

    1. Windy dear friend,

That’s a lovely view and I so agree with it. I’ve always considered such communications as a homecoming of sorts too.

When I go for my long walks in the park – I jog on alternate days at the sports complex – I let my mind wonder and always return home unburdened and refreshed, and brimming with ideas for my stories and solutions to whatever problem that had recently distracted me.

During such moments – and others have their special moments too and not necessarily a walk in the park – one does commune with one’s creator, I reckon. Quite often people look skywards. I do that too but like many I also seek within.

      Luv and hugz,
      Eric

    1. Hello Sarah,

That nightmare part gave me a chuckle. Imagine all those tiny little alien types swimming around inside us. LOL. As long as they don’t burst out through our rib cage, we are all right 🙂

      Cheers,
      Eric

  2. Sounds like shades of the Hindu philosophy there Eric. The goal of meditation in that philosophy is to recognize union with the infinite Brahma after travelling many incarnations. Was that your universe within?

    1. Hello Ian,

It leans on Tibetan Buddhism, something which I started studying in the 1970s and continue to do so even now.

But you’re right, as many Buddhist precepts borrow heavily from Hinduism.

In Tibetan Buddhism, referred to also as Lamaistic Buddhism, each one of us at a certain cosmic level is a “Brahma” – and it keeps going into realms which are beyond human words. Hence the precept in even Abrahamic religions that it all started with a “Word” – but not a mere human word as is commonly understood.

      Peace,
      Eric
