    1. Hello Shalilah,
Yes, I recall reading somewhere that laughter triggers the release of some chemicals in our body; reduces stress and improves healing.
Interesting, nature’s ready antidotes for some of our ills.
      Cheers,
      Eric

  1. It is impossible to be angry and laugh the same time, and difficult to find things funny in the heat of anger.

    next time try laughing
when you feel more like killing
    can’t do both at once

    1. Good one, Sarah
It’ll work I reckon unless we encounter a laughing killer such as the Joker.
Thank you for your spontaneous haiku 🙂

  2. I love belly laughs most of all! I remember a monthly column in the Readers Digest when I first began to read magazines that was titled “Laughter is the Best Medicine”. It stuck with me.

    1. Hello Ina,
Yes, I grew up on “Laughter the best medicine” too, and usually turned to that page before reading the rest of the book-sized magazine.
Thank you for triggering the happy memories,
      Eric

  3. If you want to remain young and vibrant, laughter certainly helps with the facial muscles. Frowning and anger just cause too much unwanted wrinkles.

    1. Hello Windy dear,
Very true – and medically proven too, I believe. Laugh lines etch a happy face. Frown lines deflects people.
      Luv and hugz,

    1. Hello Lauren,
Laughter is the best – and readily available without prescription too.
Glad to have given a good start to the week. Trust it has been great all week through, dear friend.
      Cheers! 🙂

    1. Now, that is definitely right, Ian
Some laughter can be threatening. And the tone and magnitude reveals situation and character.
Thank you and have a great week ahead,
      Eric

    1. LOL! Yes, good one 🙂
