  1. Eric, you so perfectly state what is the absolute truth. If we never open doors, we will never find new and exciting experiences.

    1. Hello and thank you, Michelle,
You know of course that all I did was clothe old wisdom in new attire. And opening new doors can be exciting and also daunting.
Thank you, dear friend, and all good wishes,
      Eric

    1. Hello Ankur, my friend
I think I spotted your hidden meaning there.
Yes, we’re quick to advise others while procrastinating before new doors ourselves. LOL.
      Good one,
      Eric

    1. Good one, Rabirius,
That sometimes happens when we knock on the wrong door at the wrong time. LOL.
      Cheers!

  2. Well said, Eric. We must try new doors if we want different answers. Same doors, no change. But as Jane said, it does take courage to try something new and to be accepting to whatever lies behind that new door. I don’t normally link my poems, but your haiku evoked memories of an old poem. 🙂

Have a great tomorrow, my friend…

    1. Hello Lauren dear,
I combined your two comments complete with the link. I went back to the old poem and the trip was reflective.
Yes, Jane did hit the nail there.
      Thank you for sharing,
      Eric

For sharing two apt haiku that provide two slants. Much appreciate these.

  4. Even the good Lord says, “knock and ye shall be answered”. If we don’t try, I reckon we become contented with the answer we have and will never find the greater answer possibly a “pot of gold” awaiting in one of the doors.

    1. Very true, Windy dear
      Quite often there waits a better answer;
