  1. Without wasting any money to paint your wall with threats, they can confiscate your property and make you a bankrupt overnight. Such power they have, these legal loan sharks in suits and in prestigious buildings.

  2. Banks and Credit Card companies usually approach those who pay promptly if you want to take up loan, join their investment plan, credit extension, increase credit limit, and the list goes on. I don’t think they lend the unemployed seed money as start up even if a fantastic business plan is presented.

    1. In my opinion, the banking system started off well and was crucial for commerce. Now, it has morphed into a monster and is the scourge of humanity.

      Strong sentiments – yes! And I make no apologies.

  3. That’s why I avoid debt like the plague. I do use credit cards, but pay them off weekly and budget forward each year to see I don’t become embarrassed not having funds for future purchases.

      I do the same – settle credit card bills automatically via electronically triggered payments.

  4. That’s a bitter thought upon which I’m going to have to ruminate. In my book they are in it to make money; Dan and I have as little to do with them as possible.

    1. Looks like when dealing with banks, Dan and you are like Lisa and me. We too have very little to do with these scum. Yes, it is a strong word specially reserved for bankers.
