I would prefer to age 25 years only, then in 200 years, I will only be 50 years old. I can earn in my first 25 years of age, retire, and enjoy in the next 25 years. I’ll still be young enough.
Neat thought, some might go on to 26 or more but not many. I recently wrote a short story, a spoof on Sleeping Beauty, in which those born on 2/29 are featured. Anyway for you, a fellow leo, HB for the event in August.
Here is a little sharing – I don’t celebrate my birthday. No particular reason – I simply don’t.
However, I had been surprised on two occasions. Once in 1990s, when Lisa and the entire clan conspired and appeared at my door step. Of course, throughout the day, Lisa was acting kinda strange… but I did not catch on until they threw open the doors and walked in 🙂
In 2012, Alicia and Adamson flew home unexpectedly from Brisbane and NYC and treated me to a surprise dinner at a posh restaurant. Of course, they had it all planned with their mother and our youngest, Amelia. That was lovely and memorable.
OK. Will try this again. 🙂 Happy birthday. And do celebrate with a big bang up, blow out, ‘baby boomer’ raucous party. Eat a cake covered in lit candles. (Blow them out first). 🙂 Every breath we take at our age is reason enough to celebrate. 🙂
