Some dread Monday mornings, need until Wednesday to crank up. Others embrace the start of the week and can’t wait to get going. Most, probably fell somewhere between these two extremes.

For me, every week is strewn with opportunities – crying out to be mined! Patience my friend, while I ready my shovel and pan 🙂

He who plods, a step a day

Towards his goals, moves faster

Than he who zooms past and gives up

The Hare and the Tortoise

Rabbit — ?

Tortoise — ?

Torbbit — ?

  1. Wise words, Eric. This reminds me of an Igbo proverb. It says, “A man who stands to harvest cassava will soon bend when he discovers he has only half of the tuber in his hand.”

It’s not how quick, but how well a task is carried out. Unfortunately, most of us are in a haste with our lives; we want this, we want that as soon as possible. This often leaves us with regrets.

This one is a food for thought.

    Thanks for sharing.

    1. Jumping in without thinking can be dangerous – as much as remaining frozen with indecision.

No size fits all – but all depends on occasion and time, I reckon.

Thank you Uzo, for sharing that Igbo proverb. Now, that’s also food for thought.

      Peace, Bro,
      Eric
