INT. EXCLUSIVE CLINIC – DAY

DOCTOR

Well, Don, if I didn’t know you better, I’d say

you’re growing younger by the year.

DONALD CROWN

How’s my ticker?

DOCTOR

That of an athlete’s. You’ve stopped using contacts –

DONALD CROWN

Lasik!

DOCTOR

I see the scars but your eyesight seems to have self-corrected.

And, you’ve stopped using the wonder pill.

DONALD CROWN

Perhaps I’m turning into a werewolf.

DOCTOR

If only it were that simple, but how do I explain a seventy year old

billionaire in the body of a thirty year old billionaire!

DONALD CROWN

I found the elixir of youth, Doc. All it takes is high stress, late

nights, fast women and bingeing. Same time next year?

Crown buttons up, heads for the door.

DOCTOR

I’ll like to meet this Tibetan lama of yours.

DONALD CROWN

All in good time, Doc, all in good time.

Crown exits. The doctor mutters to himself.

DOCTOR

Heard that for the last five years.

(YOUNG BLOOD could help reverse the ageing process, claim scientists)

  1. Blood transfusions have been around for a while, I guess it was only a matter of time they would find a way for eternal youth! Forever young.
Loved the story by the way Eric. Very tongue in cheek ;D
    cheers

    1. Hello Luciana dear,

You’re so very right. I recall reading somewhere that in ancient China, the powerful resorted to blood transfusions. Even now, it is a rumoured practice among some of the filthy rich in Asia. With people eating life monkey brains and so forth – this is not so far fetched, perhaps.

Glad you loved the story 🙂

      Have a great weekend,
      Eric
