It’s 7th October, but the first Monday of the Month – Blog Pick Day 🙂
Let the drums roll, the cymbals clash, the trumpets blare!!! On second thoughts, let’s tone it down a little lest we upset some medical cases. You’ll soon know what I mean.
🙂 Friends and Well-wishers, my Blog Pick for October 🙂
Rachael K. Jones blogging as Medical Microfiction, Creative Reality and More
😆 Applause! Applause! And yes, more Applause! 😆
Rachael writes “medical microfiction” using one medical term per story and confines her stories to about one hundred words. Her posts have a decidedly medical slant. Check out her blog and see what I mean.
Rachael obviously has great fun writing and sharing. I try not to miss her posts. They are so unique and such great reads.
You’ll have fun too, I promise, and learn a few science facts along the way.
It’s a delight to visit her blog – Medical Microfiction. Go for it —- and thank me later 🙂
I got to know Rachael in July 2013 and immediately started ‘following’ her blog. She never fails to amuse and educate.
Thank you, Rachael dear, for sharing your tales. Your talent is unique (yes that word keeps coming up when I think of your blog).
You’ve open up a whole new universe for me.

Well, alas, I AM the “literary type”, but I have often enjoyed Rachel’s posts long before you picked her….so there!
Aha, you’re my kind of gal, Cynthia my dear 🙂
As you probably gathered, it’s a running joke between Dee and I – that we two are not trained ‘literary types” and as also noted in my “Eric Alagan” or “About” page.
All good wishes to a dear friend,
Eric
Off to visit. Eric you are always good for new additions that thrill.
Aww, you lovely lovely friend. When you read her bio, she like you, is another accomplished gal.
Thank you for honouring my blog pick. It means much when I suggest someone and friends take to them.
Hope you two connect well,
Eric 🙂
Ah, Eric, you have a keen eye for quality! Rachel sure exudes of quality and grace via her writings. Thanks for ushering her to the stage — I’ll be following her blog from now on.
Great choice Eric. I visited and lingered long enjoying her fresh unique style and humor. Thank you for the introduction.
Cheerio, Jane
Not to put pressure on you, Jane dear – but I suspected you too would take to Rachael’s unique approach. Her humour is certainly many cuts above the usual fare found in Blogsville.
Thank you for your visit and ever kind words,
Eric 🙂
Great pick and thank you for introducing, Eric…. a good portion of my working life is involved in data analysis of clinical trials… perhaps I will glean and learn a lot from Rachael’s medical fiction… I am hooked and am following Rachael’s blog!
Cheers,
Dee
I knew it, I knew, I knew it 🙂
And as expected you signed up to ‘follow’ Rachael’s medical fiction. Admittedly, her themes are not everyone’s cup of tea and takes someone with a certain interest point to relish her works. I did not highlight this in the post as self discovery is always better.
Like you, I’m also hooked – but then again, we’re not (gasp!) the literary types. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!
Data analysis of clinical trials – sounds interesting, Dee. I enjoy analytical work too but focus mostly on business processes.
All good wishes, my dear 🙂
Eric
Great selection! I had to follow her blog after I read the zombie autopsy story 🙂
Thank you for visiting and commenting 🙂
Yes, Rachael does have many engaging tales to share.
All good wishes,
Eric
Congratulations, Rachael.
Thank you, Celestine – pay Rachael’s blog a visit and you’ll surely enjoy the reads.
Thank you Rachael dear 🙂
Oh my!! How did I miss this yesterday? Obviously I went to bed too early. 🙂 Eric, you are the soul of kindness, and I’m just overcome that you would feature me on your own wonderful blog. What a wonderful way to start my week here. 😀
🙂 Hello Rachael dear,
I recall going Wow! when I first read one of your microfiction. I’m not always the first to read or comment on your posts but, as you know, always make it a point to ‘catch up’. And not once have I enountered disappointment.
Hopefully, this small exposure draws more readers to your blog.
Thank you for entertaining and educating 🙂
Eric
Congrats, Rachael! I don’t know her site but I know Eric has good taste:)
