Today is the first Monday of the Month – that means, it’s time to reveal my Blog Pick of the Month 🙂

😆 APPLAUSE – APPLAUSE – and more APPLAUSE 😆

If you are into causes, a bit of ranting, and lots of boisterous humour and even delightful craziness – look no further.

My Blog Pick for July 2013

😀 Soma Mukherjee blogging as SOMKRITIYA  😀

This wonderful person, a great friend in Blogsville, has such a marvelously twisted approach – firmly anchored in out-of-box thinking – she leaves me wondering, from which well of creativity all this emanates.

Reading her posts, leads one from smile-to-smile, guffaw-to-guffaw and feeling completely and utterly high. But her posts are much more than slapstick irreverence.

Discern and you’ll perceive the underlying themes of great gravity in all her poems, prose and spice.

If you have the time to sit back with a cuppa, crave for some laughter and challenge the grey matter – check out Soma’s blog > SOMKRITYA.

Congratulations Somi dearest, and thank you for your bright presence 😀

  3. Ah! Sir Eric you never fail to present to us nothing but the best. With all the nice comments pouring in about Soma, I must take a trip to her blog, then. Your blog pick of the month is always refreshing.

    1. That’s very gracuious of you, Uzo – and yes, Soma’s blog is worth visiting and following. Trust you’ll enjoy her writing as much as me 🙂

  4. Congratulations to Soma, who is more than deserving, Eric, and you are so sweet to do this! She is a dear blogging friend and sister and I’m happy you awarded her with this honor. Many hugz to you and to her!

    1. Yes, I’ve seen Soma and you commenting on one another’s posts. She is richly deserving, as you’ve agreed.

Many hugz and luv to both you lovely souls,
      Eric

  5. I shall be taking a trip over to Soma’s Blog Eric, after I’ve watched (hopefully) Andy Murray beat his opponent at Wimbledon. All fingers are crossed so cannot use the keyboard. 😉 xPenx

    1. Ah, you’re into tennis, PennyG – I didn’t know that’s how they held the racket – with fingers crossed 😉

Pardon me, trying to inject humour and doing a poor job of it – better to leave it to the Brothers Grinn 🙂

Hope you like what you read in Soma’s – I try not to miss her posts.

      Eric 😀

    1. Well, what better way than to help one another along, huh? But really, most of them don’t need my help with publicity – but as I enjoy reading them – what better way to display my appreciation 🙂

Have a great week ahead, Laura.

      – Eric –

    1. With a cuppa in hand – no better way to browse Soma’s blog. One small caution, Jane – have a box of tissue paper nearby, as one does not know when one will guffaw with a mouthful 🙂

I did it once and took me quite a while to wipe clean the tea off my keyboard.

You’ll also find some very interesting and enjoyable reads in all the other blogs here – I love them all, and am sure you’ll find a few, if not all, to your liking too.

      Cheers,
      Eric

    1. Yikes, I corrected the typo as requested 🙂

Only you would come up with the idea for a card – love it and I’ve quickly posted it on my Awards Page because, I’m the only one in this whole wide world who won this award 😆 > http://wp.me/P1YE83-Bx > Hah! Hah!

I thought of picking your blog last year but I was away and then, you were away from Blogsville for quite some time too. The aim was to nominate active bloggers – and very happy you returned to regular blogging.

Keep spreading the joy and light, Somi dearest 🙂

Much luv and hugz coming your way too,
      Eric

    1. Oh, Padmini – you must visit and ‘follow’ her blog – sorry for this “nudge” and please don’t take it wrongly. Soma doesn’t blog daily but when she does — 😆

      1. You are right. It is amazing blog and has a great sense of humour. Different and amusing – wacky, as you say. very talented; especially liked the cartoons a lot

  6. Let me also express my congratulations to Soma for one of the best variety shows on the net. Love her blogs. And thank you to Eric who somehow weaves us all into his orbit. A privilege indeed!

      1. And good fella said unto him, “I’ve a gift for thee, by which to live and share with as many as you wish.”

To which the shrewd man replied, “How much?”

“Why,” said good fella, “it comes not tethered to ransom, for freely I give thee.”

“Keep you the burden, good fella, for there’s a snare, of this I’m sure.”

And so smiled the man 🙂 as he journeyed, seeking that which he had ignored.

(This micro tale popped to mind – thank you for triggering it 🙂 )

    1. That’s lovely, Ian – yes, nice that we can all congratulate this fine lady 🙂

We orbit one another – that makes us whole, I reckon.

      Peace,
      Eric
