I’ve not blogged as planned. Upon my return from NZ, I did the final touches of the manuscript for my 3rd novel and sent it off.

But, I returned brimming with ideas for a 4th novel – and simply had to work on it. Happy to say the first draft completed – yes, in less than a month. Now I’m working through the first of several revisions. Slightly easier pace…allowing me to blog…

P/s In time, I shall be responding to all who commented on my previous posts (plenty to catch up) and shall be visiting your blogs too. Have a great weekend 🙂

    1. Soma dear,

I hope that all is well on the health front.

I was afraid to ask about the books – what with the postal services they are now – but glad you received them.

Hope you enjoy the read. Have a great week ahead.

      Luv and hugz, Eric 🙂

  3. Eric, so very thrilled for you about sending your third novel off! And it sounds like your holiday has you super-fueled, with a first draft of the fourth book already completed! WOW! God IS watching over you, for sure, my friend!

    1. Hello dear Granbee,

Yes, I was working non-stop but that surge of adrenalin is over. Now, to work through the revisions.

I believe that all of us have a guardian angel – not some Tibetan lama or dead Red Indian (not enough of them fellows to go around) but a real angel. My third novel actually delves into this metaphysical apsect.

      Luv and hugz, Eric

    1. I visited/posted a comment in your blog – but it didn’t come through. Please check/rescue from your spam folder.

Anyway, this is what I wrote:

Congratulations Laura on landing this award from such an accomplished person as Michele. Thank you also for nominating me. All good wishes, Eric 🙂

  4. Oh my goodness, you’re a ball of fire Eric! That is awesome that you were able to get a first draft done so quickly. When the ideas come together, you just can’t help yourself can you? You are so amazing and such an inspiration. xoxo

    1. Thank you Jeannie dear – yes, once I have the ideas boiling, I lose track as I start to write and rush to complete. Then, I set it aside and slowly work through the revisions – speak about giving birth and seeing your creation mature 🙂

Luv and hugz to a friend 🙂

  5. Good day to you Eric. Since i reckon you as a really good author I was wondering if you could take up a few minutes to aid me with a translation on my latest post “Maya’s Song” It is written by a dear friend of mine and translated to English by myself. However I don’t want to make any errors to it’s translation since it is going to be part of a tattoo. Could you take a look and help me correct if you see any sentences or phrases that require attention? Thanks in advance.

    Your follower De la

    1. Thank you for your kind words.

Post your translation here in this Comments session and let me take a look – hope it is not too long. (Long poems/songs/posts are a turn off – for me)

Please note from what pedantry said here, – I make mistakes too.

      Cheers, Eric

      1. Hi again Eric. It is the top topic at my own blog called “Maya’s Sopng” It is not a long write, if you could post a reply to my thread instead i would be glad 😉

  6. Typo alert:
    “I know all your complains”
    should (I think?) be:
    “I know all your complaints”

(Apologies if I’m wrong because I’m missing something.)

    1. If I were a politician, I’ll say that I deliberately left it for you to discover.

But I’m not – it is an oversight 🙁 on my part.

      Many thanks, Eric 🙂

  7. Wow, a fourth novel. Writing a novel is beyond me, even a short story is beyond me, I just don’t have that kind of imagination. I am pleased beyond pleased for you and am looking forward to reading them all as I have worked through Mechanic Leigh.

    1. The 4th novel is very much a w.i.p but I plan to complete it in another two months or so…

You can write Carroll – when you compile all those snippets you shared when posting comments in my Mechanic Leigh series…you’ve got some nice stories to tell. Like the man said, even an epic starts with the first sentence…okay, I said that 🙂

    1. Thank you for your kind words. Good to be back 🙂

P/s I left a comment in your post Fleeting Silver – please rescue it from your spam

      Comment: Lucky sun 🙂
