There are many posts in Blogsville leading up to Holy Week. I enjoyed them all. Special mention to Rose who blogs as Granbee for her unique style that made the Lenten journey fun and reflective.

I wrote this poem in response to a very lovely and generous comment from Granbee re my post My Cycle of Freedom, Your Cycle of Life

I felt compelled to properly thank her and hence share this as a standalone post. This is dedicated to you, my Rose 🙂

    1. I can’t believe that you did not get any hits with your previous blog – perhaps you kept it ‘private’ – but if true, that is sad. But no worries, you have a fan in me 🙂

No awards in this new blog and then – TWO! Wow! That is an achievement and congratulations, Vinishka 🙂

Thank you also for nominating me. What a way to start a new week! Thank you dear.

All good wishes upon you, Eric

      1. Thank you for your support Eric! I am so humbled- I got two awards, and I only had 10 posts! 🙂 Definitely made up for the no hits part 😉 Keep writing, it’s wonderful! Have a good week!

        Cheers,
        VS

  3. It’s always lovely to be able to share love and generosity. The joy that you get in return is invaluable. Thanks to Granbee too that we get to enjoy this tribute.

    1. Thank you Christy B,

Yes, I wanted to thank her and am glad to have posted this. Also, as Jyoti mentioned, it applies to all mothers – which makes Granbee a role model 🙂

      Luv and peace, Eric

  4. Eric, you have made me cry–silly ol’ granbee that I am! Imagine a post on Palm Sunday weekend dedicated to MOI? I simply cannot resist sharing this on Digg(thus Facebook), to show what a totally open-hearted and generous love of an engineering man you are. How we all envy Lisa for such a husband. (My hubby told me last night how proud he is of me for following my writing dreams these days–thus he can get away with a LOT for a long time now–and don’t think he doesn’t know it–tee, hee!)

    1. Aw! Granbee – and why not you. When you spread love, it comes back multifold to you 🙂

If each of us can fill one person a day with joy – what a happier world we’ll make.

Sounds like you have a wonderful man in your life. God bless.

Well, we are off to church now for Palm Sunday.

All good wishes, love and hugz for you,
      Eric 🙂

  5. Eric, touching words wrapped in simplicity. I envy you, good Sire.

As an aside, I finally came around to doing the needful (your nomination for the 7×7 Link Award). You Sire, needless to add, always merit a mention. I thoroughly enjoy your writings. You will find my gratitude here: http://haphazardlinkages.wordpress.com/2012/03/31/a-stellar-quarter-7-awards-of-recognition/

Irrespective of whether you accept/decline the award, I shall remain a faithful reader!

    1. Ha! Ha! Ha! What a pleasant way to start the morning. Thank you for your compliments.

And there you go again, bearing gifts (and not the first from you). I am touched and humbled by your thought. Thank you.

Congratulations to you too for having won this nomination.

Let us all continue to blog and spread some cheer 🙂

      1. Thank you, Eric.

Apart from your writings, you have a motley group here at your blog and is a good place to stumble upon interesting writing.
