Yes, I am posting a poem a weekday leading to Valentine’s about Love – but not on the ‘rib bone’ theme as I believe that women are much more equal to men than what some aspects of being a ‘rib bone’ conveys.
Like I commented yesterday, Oh Worthy Eric, your Lisa is one blessed woman! No wonder you are able to write so wonderfully well, with a deer and a nightingale and an angelfish and an eighth wonder and..and..and all living in partnership with you every day! Every woman will wish her husband could write like this. I know my husband thinks all of this and more (we won’t say what!) about me, but writing it…….hummm.
Inspiration from your wife with a touch of influence from Solomon? Lovely to know one has someone created just for them. Thank you for following. I’ll be visiting you as well.
Another one I somehow missed before. Lovely!
No worries Ian,
I tend to be a little too prolific and this causes some to slip through.
Have a good one,
Eric
This was a lovely dedication. a nice song
One of my dear blogging friends, Jasey, always teased that I write only “heavy” stuff. Well, I tried to rise up to the challenge.
To be honest, I’m really not into these “fluffy” stuff. Need to work on it more, I reckon.
True. Every writer specializes or prefers to write in a genre. But, this poem has come out very well
Great post, Eric. Echoes of Solomon in here? Perfect for Valentine’s Day and your wife.
🙂
well done, Eric. original and unique.
Ciao, Francina
Thank you Francina. Trust the weekend is going well for you. Cheers, Eric
Wonderful! I love that you continued the ‘rib bone’ line from your other poem to your wife. I sense this is a build up to Valentine’s Day 🙂
Ooooh Christy,
Pressure, pressure 🙂

You are getting all “mushy” on Valentine’s day. Just teasing. Another different presentation and very well strung phrases.
Yes, I know what you mean – it is just not moi. But hey, I am treading new ground here…and it is mushy 🙂
Absolutely beautiful. I appreciate the talented use of repetition.
Thank you for your visit and kind words, Eric 🙂
