  1. Congratulations buddy on being nominated for this award numerous times, so very well deserved…your writing – straight from the heart – is a joy to read and I am grateful our paths crossed…take care, Jane

  2. Eric, congratulations. You are MOST deserving. I myself liked your post, The Awakening. I am glad to know about some of these other blogs. Be well and continue to follow your star!

  3. Hello Eric

Congratulations not only for being nominated for the award, but for the comments from fellow bloggers I read here. They are completely right, you can write. If I only had 1/10th of your talent, I’d praise myself a lucky girl.
Enjoy and have a nice day.

    Steph

      1. Dear, dear Eric

Thank you for saying that. Even though I don’t believe it, you’ve made my day (and it is still early morning here, about 7.20 am) and while it’s only a few weeks ago that we met here, you seem to me like an old friend, someone I’ve known always.

        Thank you so much, Eric

        Love

        Steph

      2. I was just pulling your leg, my dearest friend,. but I couldn’t resist the temptation. (Women! Aaahh!) 😉

My comment has a few typos in it too. Too early in the morning and the coffee not working yet.

Have a nice day in Singapore.

        Love

        Steph xxx

  4. First, Eric – congratulations on your multiple nominations. And thank you so much for nominating me. I don’t think I’m in the same league – but your kind thoughts will help me hone my little bit of skill – or so I hope.

Thanks again and all good things to you,

    Juwannadoright

  5. Dear Eric,

First, Congratulations to you. YOU deserve to be recognized! This is a great award because it allows you as a writer to steer US your readers to YOUR favorite posts. I look forward to reading your favorites very much.

    AND

Thank you SO much for nominating Step on a Crack.

I am touched that you thought of my blog. You can Write and I deeply respect your skill and gift with Words. This nomination means all the more coming from a true Wordsmith.

    Again, CONGRATULATIONS!

    and thank you VERY much!

    Peace, Jen

    1. Dear Jen,

When I read your comment, I went quiet. My wife, who shares my home office, noticed (like most women, she has a sharp sixth sense). After reading your post, she kissed my cheeks, patted my shoulder and went out to leave me alone…she knows when to.

If I can be worthy of at least half of all you say…

In a world overflowing with ego, it is wonderful to receive recognition from fellow practitioners of any craft. Thank you so very much.

The primary topic of your blog – Alcoholics Dementia – is required writing and required reading. You don’t need to be ‘arty-farty’ with words but simply let it flow, natural as you do.

Jen, you rightfully deserve this award (as all the others you have already won) and it was my singular pleasure to nominate you. Continue to write from your heart, and you’ll continue to touch people as you have touched me.

      God bless, Eric 🙂

I like to hear your thoughts
