  1. Eric,
I noticed that you have been presented many different (and well deserved) awards for your blog. I was wondering if you could tell me how it works exactly. Is there some kind of committee that you have to contact to nominate bloggers or is it up to the individual bloggers? Any information you can give me is much appreciated! Thank you in advance and keep up the fantastic work!

    1. Hello Amber,

      As far as I know…

      1. There are no committees to contact for anything – permission, nothing…
      2. Awards are initiated by fellow bloggers (you and me) and also by the Word Press administrators. I haven’t received any WP awards so, unable to comment about their parameters.
      3. Purpose of awards is to recognise blogs and help in networking, reaching to a wider audience.
      4. Usually the awards come with certain rules – you are nominated, you carry out these rules and qualify to display the badge/image on your blog
      5. The rules usually include that you pass on/nominate others – that is how it spreads. They also ask you to reveal more about yourself –all in fun.
      6. You can accept/decline the nominations – no penalties. In fact, no penalties if you chose not to follow the ‘rules’
      7. The best way for you to learn more – as what I did – was to read/observe what other awardees do…

      Cheers, Eric
