We all have talents, but are these ours? Do we use these for our sole benefit? The answers are obvious, I reckon.

    1. Hello and welcome Shakil,

Yes, questions will need to be addressed – and we can’t point to this law or that book as we stand in all nakedness, but perhaps only to what we thought, felt, said and did. I’m sure we’ll all carry with us answers – appropriate to our lives lived.

      Peace,
      Eric

      1. Dear Eric,
        Peace be with you

“as we stand in all nakedness, but perhaps only to what we thought, felt, said and did. I’m sure we’ll all carry with us answers – appropriate to our lives lived.”

You have summed up an entire situation in very few words. I couldn’t agree more.

  1. ahh the parable of the talents, one of the most powerful in the new testament. yes, each of us has talents — mine is writing — and it behoves us to share; I suppose each of us do this in a small way by keeping a blog

    1. You are so very right,John. Every talent counts, even if our talent is nothing more than a ready smile. Your every post touches someone, somewhere…keep blogging. Cheers, Eric

  2. Eric,
Thanks for the “likes” on my posts. I want you to know that your posts have so much meaning – great reminders. ie “My Talents – His Gifts”. So very true and important for us all to always remember: that He is our Source and we are privilged to be in the service of the King. You are appreciated greatly! Again, Merry Christmas to you.

    1. Hello Frank,
Thank you for your encouraging words.
Sometimes I fear turning people off with all these pious platitudes, because most people already know them. But we should all keep on until that last one lost sheep is found.
      You keep blogging too.
      Merry Christmas,
      Eric

  3. I wonder. Maybe one day we’ll be surprised to see who has been touched by our walk. Then again we may be shocked by our feeble efforts and lack of fruit. Time will tell, but by all means eggs on to be less self centred.

    1. Hello Stephen,
Thank you for your visit and comment. You are so very right.

As we journey, we sow and most times do not return to see what sprouts. But we have the satisfaction, knowing that we had spread it to all and not simply to family, friends and worst – self.

      All good wishes, Eric
